named a Hockey Canada Community Champion for his extensive community work.
The President of Hockey Nova Scotia Arnie Farrell presented Boyle with a Hockey Canada Community Champion Jersey outside the Antigonish arena yesterday.
Boyle, a fourth year student in the Bachelor of Science in Human Kinetics program at St. FX, has been active in the Antigonish Challenger Baseball Program and the St. FX MAX program. In the MAX program, students work with individuals with cognitive and intellectual disabilities. In this program, Boyle has been involved in sledge hockey, skating and swimming.
Boyle will be featured on the 989XFM morning show on Monday.
