Salt Springs resident Betty Lou Scott has been named the Volunteer of the Year in the Pictou

Betty Lou Scott
County Municipality. Scott has been a volunteer with the Salt Springs 4H Club for more than 40 years and is also involved in the county and provincial level.
She’s also been active in her church, as a member and steward with St. Luke’s United, as well as a member and secretary-treasurer of the Maritime Angus Association. She’s currently secretary of the Nova Scotia Angus Association.
She will be honoured by the both the Municipality and the Province in April.
