Officials with the National Defence Department say soldiers will be conducting training from today (Thursday) until Sunday in the McLellan’s Brook, Salt Springs Provincial Park, Pictou and Debert areas.
The department says the training will include road movements from the Pictou Armoury to Salt Springs Provincial Park and Debert Rifle Range areas using secondary roads and Highways 102 and 104. There will be increased levels of noise in those areas because of a large vehicles and trailers being staged. No traffic disruptions are anticipated.
Area residents are asked to observe posted safety instructions should they approach or encounter soldiers during training.
