Cape Breton-Canso MP Mike Kelloway says he likes the direction the Inflation Rate is headed.
Statistics Canada says the Consumer Price Index last month rose 2 per cent. That’s down from a 2.4 per cent gain in July.
Kelloway says this is a positive sign that the economic plan is working.
Nova Scotia’s Inflation Rate was even better, at 1.2 per cent in August. In July, Nova Scotia’s CPI was at 2.3 per cent.
