The season is over for the Cumberland County Blues of the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League. The team has announced it will be ceasing operations effective immediately. The move comes after the team played six games in the 2023-24 season. The Blues played in the Sid Rowe Division; along with the Antigonish Junior B Bulldogs, Strait Pirates, Pictou County Scotians, the Membertou Junior Miners and Eskasoni Junior Eagles.
