Antigonish minor hockey product Drake Batherson has been named to the American Hockey
League’s Second All-Star Team.
Batherson, who plays right wing, was one of the league’s top players for the second year in a row. Batherson scored 16 goals and had 38 assists for 54 points in 44 games for the Belleville Senators. Batherson also appeared in 23 games for Belleville’s parent club, the NHL’s Ottawa Senators where he had three goals and seven assists.
Batherson was a fourth round pick for Ottawa in the 2017 NHL Draft.
