More local events are cancelling because of COVID-19.
The Exhibitions Association of Nova Scotia announced the suspension of all physical exhibitions
and fairs for the 2020 season. The association also announced all other activities on exhibition and fair grounds must meet guidelines as outlined by Nova Scotia’s Medical Officer of Health.
The association stated the move is essential to ensure the safety of employees, volunteers, exhibitors, and public in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic . They thanked all employees, volunteers, exhibitors, and public who have supported the exhibitions over the years.
The Association says it looks forward to being able to celebrating Nova Scotia’s agricultural heritage when health regulations permit.
