The Nova Scotia Nurses Union president is staying put.
Earlier today, the NSNU announced Janet Hazelton was acclaimed as president of the

organization for a ninth term. A registered nurse, Hazelton held the post since 2002. She is the longest standing president for the group since its inception.
As for what she wants to accomplish over her next term, Hazelton was succinct.
Hazelton, graduated with a nursing degree from StFX UNiversity and got a masters at Dalhousie. She sits on the executive of the Nova Scotia Federation of Labour, the board of the Workers Compensation Board of Nova Scotia, the Provincial Nursing Network of Nova Scotia, and the National Executive Board of the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions.
