35-year-old Dennis Robert Arthur Baxter from New Glasgow faces charges of aggravated assault, failure to comply with a release order, and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
Police continue to investigate to locate Baxter and are requesting assistance from the public for further information on his whereabouts. Anyone who sees Baxter should not approach him and call police.
