Nova Scotia RCMP are planning to issue an apology on Saturday to African Nova Scotians and all people of African descent for the historic use of street checks and other harmful interactions.
The apology is set for 1 p.m. at the North Preston Community Centre.
The apology will be live streamed at a number of locations, including the Tracadie United Baptist Church Hall in Monastery and Ignite Atlantic in New Glasgow.
