With the province still in the middle of dealing with the Covid 19 pandemic, the leader of the
Nova Scotia PC party says his team is ready to help.
Pictou East MLA and PC leader Tim Houston said his team is supportive of the government, noting they want the province to get through the current situation. As neighbouring provinces begin to open up their respective economies, Houston said, Nova Scotians want to know the plan for getting the local economy up and running again.
Houston said people need to know there is some hope and what the plan is for the reopening the province. He said the premier knows the PCs want to help, and says if they can get all of Nova Scotia’s 51 MLAs working together, they can do good things for residents.
One suggestion offered was the set up of a virtual committee of elected officials, community and business leaders with the goal of thinking where things go from here.
