education student from Ottawa in her fifth year of eligibility scored three goals in two X-Women weekend wins, 8-0 over Moncton and 2-1 over UNB.
The male athete of the week is X-Men Soccer midfielder Kyle Cordeiro, who scored the lone goal for St. FX in their close 2-1 loss to UNB on Sunday. The fourth year Business student from Oakville, Ontario also had a good game for the X-Men in their 1-0 win over Moncton.
In Football, the St. FX Offensive Player of the Week is Running Back Malcolm Bussey, who had 19 carries for 148 yards in their 23-6 win over Acadia.
The Defensive Player of the Week is X-Men Linebacker Josh Conners with 7.5 tackles, including 7 solo tackles.
The Special Teams Player of the week is receiver/returner Ben Harrington, who had a big game against Acadia, including an 83-yard touchdown on a punt return. He had four punt returns for 106 yards, one kickoff return for 19 yards and added 47 yards on offense with one rush and two receptions.
