The Mayor of Westville and two former councillors were recognized by the Union of Nova Scotia Municipalities for their long service.

At last night’s meeting of council, Mayor Lennie White and former councilor Clarrie MacKinnon were given a certificate recognizing 15 years each of municipal service – MacKinnon served on several municipal councils before Westville during his career.
Former councillor Bernie Murphy was given a certificate recognizing ten years of municipal service.
