The Town of Westville announced the sudden passing of Councillor Betty Jean Sutherland.

A post on the town’s social media stated Sutherland’s work as a municipal councillor allowed her to exhibit her passion for the Town and its people.
The town offered condolences to the family at this difficult time and in honour of Sutherland, lowed the town’s flag.
